How do I get started with DS|Sign?
Please create an account, upload your document, add the signatory details and signature fields and then submit it. Signatories will receive an email link to sign the document on any device.
What types of signatures are supported?
DS|Sign supports simple (SES), advanced (AES) and qualified (QES) electronic signatures in accordance with the eIDAS regulations.
What is the difference between SES, AES and QES?
SES is a simple signature. AES verifies identity for greater trustworthiness using a cell phone number. QES uses a qualified certificate from a trusted provider and has the highest legal status in the EU.
Are the signatures time-stamped?
Does DS|Sign support LTV (Long Term Validation)?
Yes, LTV ensures that signatures remain valid for years by storing all required certificates and timestamps in the document.
Is DS|Sign eIDAS-compliant?
How is safety guaranteed?
Through encryption, secure key storage in HSMs, audit trails and ISO/IEC 27001-certified data centers.
Are DS|Sign electronic signatures legally valid?
Yes, they have the same legal effect as handwritten signatures under EU and local law.
What price plans are available?
How is the price calculated?
Can I sign documents in DS|Sign that are stored on other platforms?
Yes, you can sign documents stored on your desktop/mobile phone, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive.
Is there API access?
What happens if a signatory does not have access or cannot sign?
Check your emails, make sure the document is still valid and use a supported browser. Send the invitation again if necessary.
What happens if the upload fails?
Make sure that the file is in a supported format (PDF), does not exceed the size limit and does not contain any interactive forms. Reduce the PDF file if necessary.
How can I track the status of a document?
The dashboard shows whether documents have been viewed, signed or are still pending and automatically sends reminders.
Can I add more signatories after sending?

Yes, all signed files are stored in a secure online repository for easy access and verification purposes.
